Bret Michaels, lead singer of Poison is bringing his solo Parti-Gras 2 tour back to his hometown of Central PA. Michaels brought Parti-Gras 1 to The Penn Heroes Stage at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville PA last August, and what a night of fun, music, and fireworks it was. He promised that night that he would bring a bigger more elaborate version back this year, and he is delivering on that promise. Today, Bret held a live, virtual press concert to announce that Parti-Gras 2.0 will closeout the summer concert series at Penn Heroes Stage on Saturday, September 14th! He is raising the bar this year by bringing Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray with him. This will be the first time ever that Bret, Dee, and Mark, who all share the same birthday (March 18) also share the stage! Special guests Great White and Sugar Ray round out the line-up. Watch for more hometown surprise guests to be announced prior to the show! When asked how he determines to to invite to share the stage, Bret shared that his philosophy is that music should unite us, never divide us. Thus, he loves bringing multiple genres together on stage for “Nothing But a Good Time”! He hinted that the finale this year will be even bigger than last year and will again include an awesome fireworks display. After the show, join the bands up at the Casino to continue the party! He shared that his most memorable moment last year was the finale when all the musicians that played that evening came together on stage for a final party with beach balls floating throughout the crowd and ending with spectacular fireworks.
