Red Devil Vortex Premieres New Proudly Defiant Single, ‘Alive,’ Companion Video

Aug. 13 — Independent hard rock band Red Devil Vortex wants its audiences to be proud of who and what they are.

That is the message in the band’s brand new single, ‘Alive.’ The band premiered the song and its companion video Friday. The band talked about the song’s message in a prepared statement.

“‘Alive’ is the song that starts a new era for Red Devil Vortex, presenting the prodigy guitarist Luis Kalil as the new member,” the statement reads. “It’s a song of empowerment, about believing in yourself and being free to live on your own terms. After all the craziness and uncertainties brought by the Pandemic, we feel like this is a timeless message that fits the present moment perfectly, reminding us we can always be stronger and kick ass.”

‘Alive’ is expected for inclusion in the band’s forthcoming EP. The record’s title, release date, and other details are all under consideration.

The musical arrangement featured in ‘Alive’ is a hard-driving composition. The forward-moving guitar, steady time keeping, bass, and vocals harken back to the aggro-rock sounds of the late 90s.

The video for ‘Alive’ is just as straight forward as the song’s lyrical theme and musical arrangement. It features the band performing its single in a studio setting. A variety of angles and video effects is used to heighten the engagement and entertainment throughout the video.
