March 9 — Emo-punk band Rip Room unveiled the video for its latest single this week.

The band premiered the video for its latest single, ‘Worth Repeating’ Wednesday through The Alternative. The band debuted the song by itself in January through New Noise magazine.

The video features the band performing its single in a wooded area, which front man John Reed talked about in relation to the theme in the song’s lyrics.

“The song is about the world falling apart, so it felt right to shoot in the woods — ominous and sinister, but maybe the safest place to be,” said Reed.

The musical arrangement featured in the new single is a punchy, DIY-style composition. Its garage rock approach will appeal to a wide range of audiences, not just punk purists.

‘Worth Repeating’ is featured in the band’s forthcoming album, Alight and Resound, which is scheduled for release May 27 through Spartan Records. Pre-saves and pre-orders are open.
