Jan. 5 — Russkaja is set to release its latest album next month, and in anticipation of its release, debuted the lyric video for the record’s lead single Thursday.

The band is scheduled to release its new album, Turbo Polka Party Feb. 3 through Napalm Records. IN anticipation of its release, the band premiered the lyric video for the album’s lead single, ‘Shapka‘ Thursday. The video features the lyrics over almost cartoon-ish visuals of the band performing its new song while the single plays over the visualization.

The musical arrangement featured in the song mixes some nu-metal leanings with what sounds like some distinct Eastern European musical influence for a sound that is unique in and of itself.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme was provided in the press release announcing the debut of the new video. However, information provided about the album’s overall lyrical content hints at the song being a social commentary. That is just this critic’s interpretation.

Turbo Polka Party will release on gatefold LP, CD and digital platforms. The album’s track listing is noted below.
