In other news, The Blue Stones premiered the lyric video for Hidden Gems‘ latest single, ‘One By One’ Tuesday. The video is a simple, animated presentation. It presents the song’s lyrics in an almost colored chalk style design against a black background as the song plays over the visualization.
The song’s musical arrangement is a subtle, guitar and bass-centered composition. Its vocals add a solid accent to the whole. The reserved yet bluesy approach to the composition gives the song a sort of indie-pop rock stylistic approach and sound.
No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the press release announcing the video’s premiere. However, in paying attention to the lyrics, on screen, it would seem that the song centers on the all too familiar topic of a troubled relationship.
