Dec. 30 — Independent alt-rock band The Intemperate Songs is preparing to release its new album, Game of Keep Away this year through independent label Frame|Work.
In anticipation of the record’s release, the band has announced a handful of live dates through winter to build excitement over the new presentation. The band is scheduled to perform live Jan. 14 in Pflugerville, TX and Jan. 28 in Euless, TX in support of the record.
Performances on Feb. 11 in Dallas, TX and on March 18 in West Hollywood, CA are also on the band’s schedule. The band’s current live schedule is noted below.

Along with the new live dates, the band have also released the album’s lead single, ‘Unrealized‘ to all outlets. The song’s musical arrangement is an alt-rock style composition that boasts elements of 80s new wave pop and some early 90s pop influence, too. The song’s lyrical theme addresses the topic of mental health, according to information provided about its release.
A news release announcing the single’s debut states of the song’s lyrical them, it is the story of being trapped within the walls of your mind and the self-destructive ways you end up keeping yourself there while everyone around you sees your potential.” A video for the single is planned to debut Thursday.
The Intemperate Songs’ new single was produced by Amir Derakh (ex-Orgy, Julien K).
