April 4 — Independent rock act The Rocket Summer is scheduled to release its new album next month.
The band’s new album, Shadowkasters, is scheduled for release May 12 through Aviate Records. The act, the brainchild of Bruce Avery, announced dates for a new tour in support of the forthcoming album Tuesday.
The five-week tour is scheduled to launch June 6 in Tulsa, OK and to run through July 12 in Albuquerque, NM. It also features scheduled stops in cities nationwide, such as Boston, MA; Columbus, OH and Greensboro, NC. The tour’s schedule is noted below:

Shadowkasters has produced three singles ahead of its forthcoming release. The most recent of which was ‘Sing At The Top.’ Its premiere was preceded by the release of the songs, ‘M4U‘ and ‘Stuck Inside Your Light.’
