May 19 — The Dead Daisies is set to release a collection of some of its best songs this summer.
The simply titled Best Of is scheduled for release Aug. 18 on separate CD and vinyl platforms. The record will consist of six songs lifted from the band’s catalog along with two previously unreleased songs recorded during the sessions for the band’s most recent album, Radiance. The official track listing was not included in the news release announcing the set’s forthcoming release.

In related news, The Dead Daisies is scheduled to launch a tour in support of the compilation Aug. 22. The tour is scheduled to run through Sept. 10. Tickets are available here.
Following the initial run across North America, the band will perform a pair of shows Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 in Japan. Those two dates will be followed by a brief run through the EU from Nov. 4-19. Tickets for that leg of the tour are available here.
The Dead Daisies founder/guitarist David Lowy, said in a statement, he was excited about the band’s upcoming hits collection and tour.
