June 19 — Pop punk outfit Dead Alright premiered yet another new single this week, its fourth since the release of its debut single, ‘Strong Enough To Fail‘ in January.

The band unveiled is new single, ‘Groundhog Day‘ Monday. The song’s musical arrangement is a catchy, upbeat composition whose roughness immediately likens it to works from the likes of Sum 41, Neck Deep, and even Lit. That is evidenced through the gritty vocals and the distinct guitar and bass lines paired with the tight pop of the snare.

According to information provided about the song in the news release announcing its debut, the song’s lyrical theme centers on the all too familiar topic of “the frustration of feeling stuck in a never-ending cycle.”

The premiere of ‘Groundhog Day’ Monday came more than a month after the band debuted its then latest single, ‘Nights of Self-Destruction‘. That song was itself preceded by the release of another single from the band, ‘Dust Falls‘.
