June 21 — Testament will remain with Nuclear Blast Records for the foreseeable future.
The band announced Wednesday, it has signed a new extension with the label that will see the group release its next three albums through Nuclear Blast Records. Testament has been signed with Nuclear Blast Records since 2008 and has released four albums in that time.
Along with announcing the new extension, the band also announced that it and Nuclear Blast have acquired the rights to all six of its albums released through Atlantic Records/Megaforce, from its 1987 debut, The Legacy, to its 1994 album, Low. Front man Chuck Billy said the band will likely re-issue those albums through Nuclear Blast now that the band and label have control of the albums.
Audiences can stream two of the albums — The Legacy and The New Order — now.
