June 28 — Rockabilly superstar Brian Setzer announces a new tour schedule this week.
Setzer’s upcoming solo tour, dubbed the “Rockabilly Riot Tour,” schedule is set to launch Sept. 27 in Red Bank, NJ and to run through Oct. 13 in Minneapolis, MN. The tour, which runs less than three weeks, will take Setzer mostly through the nation’s heartland, with scheduled performances in cities, such as Cincinnati, OH; Madison, WI and Davenport, IA.

Setzer said in a prepared statement, the brief, upcoming tour will happen because he has not toured in some time.
“I’ve had a pretty long break, and I needed it,” Setzer said. “I’m renewed and really want to play live again. I want to just get out on the road with this kick-ass little 3-piece band and start playing.”
In other news, Setzer said he is working on the follow-up to his 2021 solo album, Gotta Have The Rumble and that he is hoping to release the new album this fall.
