July 14 — The Chrysler Museum of Art will host an exhibition of photos taken by Sir Paul McCartney this winter.
The museum, located in Norfolk, VA, will host the exhibition, titled Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-64 from December 5, 2023 to April 7, 2024. The exhibition will feature more than 250 photographs taken by McCartney between November 1963 and February 1964. The noted time frame was when The Beatles rose to global prominence.
McCartney talked briefly about the photos, which were rediscovered by the famed singer-songwriter-musician in 2020 after years of them being packed away.
“Looking at these photos now, decades after they were taken, I find there’s a sort of innocence about them,” McCartney said. “Looking at these photos now, decades after they were taken, I find there’s a sort of innocence about them.”
