BMG Announces Details For Re-Issue Of Gary Moore’s ‘Back To The Blues’

Sept. 6 — BMG will re-issue guitarist Gary Moore’s classic album, Back to the Blues next month on vinyl.

Originally released in 2001 through Sanctuary Records, the new re-issue is scheduled for release on a 2LP collection and separate standalone CD Oct. 13 through BMG. His 13th album, Back to the Blues saw Moore return to his traditional blues roots on this record after much time handling more rock-leaning compositions.

The re-issue will mark the first time the album has been released on vinyl. It will come with new liner notes penned by Dave Everly. In addition it will feature one bonus studio recording, ‘Picture of the Moon (single Edit)’ and two live bonus tracks, ‘Cold Black Night (live at VH1)’ and ‘Stormy Monday (Live at VH1)’.
