Sept. 15 — Nu-metal star Hyro The Hero gave audiences another taste of his sophomore album, Bound For Glory this weekend.

The up-and-coming artist debuted the video for the album’s latest (its ninth) single Friday. The song and its video features a guest appearance from Marcus Videsater, of Solence. The video features in part, Hyro The Hero and his fellow musicians in a small sound stage, performing the new single. The other half of the video features Hyro The Hero with Videsater on a street, performing, complete with pyro.

The musical arrangement featured in the song once again exhibits the influence of Rage Against The Machine, what with the song’s guitar line. When Videsater adds his rapping to the mix, the song also shows comparison to works from the band From Ashes To New. The pairing of those influences makes the arrangement another engaging and entertaining work from Hyro The Hero.

No information about the song’s lyrical theme was provided in the news release announcing the video’s premiere. The lyrics provided with the video hint at the theme centering on the all-too-familiar topic of battling mental health, which is itself a familiar theme on Bound For Glory. Hyro The Hero also approaches the topic in the album’s song, ‘Head Under Water (ft. Reddstar and Dan Sugarman of Ice Nine Kills)‘.

‘Head Under Water’ is just one of a number of singles produced by Bound For Glory. The album most recently produced a cover of rapper Busta Rhymes’ hit single, ‘Woo-Ha!! Got You All In Check‘ Also featured and previously released from this record are: ‘Legendary,‘ ‘Retaliation Generation,’ ‘Fight,’ ‘We Believe,’ ‘Sho Nuff,’ and ‘FU2.’

‘Head Underwater’ features a guest appearance by Reddstar and Ice Nine Kills guitarist Dan Sugarman. Speaking of Ice Nine Kills, band front man Spencer Charnas guests on ‘Retaliation Generation.’ Disturbed front man David Draiman guests on ‘We Believe’ while ‘Legendary’ features a guest appearance by Atreyu front man Brandon Saller. ‘FU2′ features a guest appearance by Fire From The Gods’ AJ Channer. Chad Gray (Hellyeah, Mudvayne) guests on ‘Fight.’
