Oct. 31 — Independent rock act American Jetset unveiled the lyric video for its single, ‘Hell’s Out To Get Ya’ over the weekend.
The band premiered the new lyric video Sunday. The A-side to its companion single, ‘Firestarter,’ it is featured in the band’s 2023 album, Slay Bell Singles according to information provided with the lyric video.
The song’s musical arrangement is a pure guitar rock composition that will appeal to fans of works from the likes of Motley Crue, Dokken, and Guns N’ Roses what with its pure approach. One could even argue a comparison to works from the likes of L.A. Guns, considering this.
No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the debut of the new video. From what is presented over the background of images of fire and skulls however, it seems that the song infers a theme of the impact of false leaders and idols. That is just this critic’s own interpretation and could very well be completely off point, but without explanation, the theme is left to interpretation.
In other news, American Jetset has announced a trio of new live dates for December. The dates are: Dec. 16, 30 and 31 in Leesburg, Va and Hollywood, CA respectively, with the last two dates both scheduled for the famed Whiskey A Go Go. Tickets for the concerts are available here.
