Arch Enemy, In Flames, Soilwork Announce Details For “Rising From The North” Tour

Nov. 20 — Three of the biggest names in the Swedish metal community will join forces for a tour of Europe next year.

Arch Enemy and In Flames will partner for a co-headlining tour alongside special guest Soilwork. The fall tour, dubbed the “Rising From The North Tour,” is scheduled to launch Oct. 3 in Glasgow, United Kingdom and to run through Nov. 4 in Helsinki, Finland. Ticket pre-sales are open.

Arch Enemy founding member and guitarist Michael Amott said he was looking forward to heading out on the road with the members of In Flames and Soilwork.

“What an insane Swedish Metal extravaganza across Europe in 2024! We share a lot of history with IN FLAMES and SOILWORK, going all the way back to the very early days of ARCH ENEMY,” Amott said. “We’re extremely stoked to be doing this special tour with our Swedish comrades – let’s go!!!”

Arch Enemy’s upcoming fall run next year is in support of its latest album, Deceivers, which released through Century Media.

In Flames front man Anders Frieden said in his own comments, he is also anticipating the tour.

“Couldn’t be more excited to announce this tour,” said Frieden. “It’s been a long time coming and we are finally back together again on stage with our friends in ARCH ENEMY and SOILWORK. We plan to bring you an unforgettable night of melody and mayhem! This is some of Sweden’s finest – a tour you simply should not miss!!!”

In Flames’ run on the tour is in support of its latest album, Foregone, which released this year through Nuclear Blast Records.

Soilwork front man Bjorn Strid shared the other musicians’ sentiment in his own comments.

“Finally we can release the great news of one of the greatest tour line ups to hit the streets in at least a decade!,” Strid said. “We are super excited and we are pretty damn sure that this is a tour that a lot of people have been longing for. We go way back with both ARCH ENEMY and IN FLAMES, so prepare yourself for an absolute legendary Swedish melodic metal assault!”
