Nov. 15 — Metal Blade Records will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Slayer’s 1983 album, Show No Mercy, early next year.
The band’s debut album, Show No Mercy is scheduled for re-issue Feb. 16 through Metal Blade Records on two separate vinyl pressings. Meal Blade Records originally released the album Dec. 3, 1983.
The record’s two separate planned vinyl pressings are: black gold dust and “blood”-filled liquid vinyl. The details for each pressing are noted below along with the record’s track listing:

Metal Blade previously re-issued Show No Mercy on vinyl in 2021 as part of the label’s vinyl re-issue of the band’s Metal Blade catalog. That catalog spanned four albums — Show No Mercy (1983), Haunting The Chapel (1984), Live Undead (1984), and Hell Awaits (1985).
