Black Heart Saints Debuts New Single, ‘Two Drinks In,’ Companion Video

-

Dec. 1 — Black Heart Saints is finishing off 2023 with another new single and video as an early Christmas present for audiences.

The band debuted its new single, ‘Two Drinks In‘ Friday, along with the song’s companion video. The premieres serve as a bookend of sorts for Black Heart Saints. That is because the band’s then latest single, ‘Human Xstacy,‘ made its debut in January. That single was the band’s first new music since the release of its single, ‘Lonely Is the Night‘ in 2022.

The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a familiar style composition from the band, what with its guitar-driven foundation. The mid-tempo work is easily comparable to works from the likes of Buckcherry and others of that ilk in its energy and stylistic approach.

No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the debut of the new single and video. Lyrics were not available with the song’s video, either.

Speaking of the song’s video, it features front man Josh LeBlanc out on a night on the town with a young woman. After taking a drink of alcohol, LeBlanc ends up in some rather disturbing situations. Viewers are warned that some of the situations may be unsettling to some viewers ahead of the video’s presentation. The most unsettling of those situations is LeBlanc sitting at a table with other unidentified figures, playing Russian Roulette. One of the individuals has a less than positive end in process. So yes, some discretion is advised in watching this video.

Being that lyrics are not available, nor is any explanation of the song’s theme, interpretation of the video and lyrics is left wholly in the air.
