Jan. 24 — Ministry offered audiences another preview of its forthcoming album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES this week.

The preview came in the form of the record’s latest single, ‘B.D.E.’ and the song’s video. The song is the album’s third single behind lead single, ‘***damn White Trash‘ and its follow-up, ‘Just Stop Oil.’ The song’s musical arrangement boasts all of the industrial punch for which Ministry’s music has come to be known throughout its catalog.

While no information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the premiere of the new single and video, the song’s lyrical theme is clear. It is a condemnation of toxic masculinity in America. That includes the movement in Congress to get Roe v. Wade overturned by hardliner conservative politicians (especially males in that category). To that end, it is a work that will empower many women out there and even men who are the opposite of the ones being addressed.

The video for the new single features at points, the band performing its new single against a somewhat psychedelic backdrop. At other points in the video, a man wearing a decidedly Hispanic hat as he sings the lyrics.

In other news, Ministry recently announced a spring tour in support of HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, Gary Numan and Frontline Assembly will join Ministry for the tour. Tickets are available now. The tour’s schedule is noted below:
