March 4 — Ace Frehley’s latest album, 10,000 Volts got off to a strong start in its debut late last month.
The eighth record from the former founding member of KISS, it debuted on Billboard’s Independent Chart and #3 on the outlet’s Internet Chart. The album’s vinyl release debuted at #4 on Billboard’s Vinyl chart as well as its Album Sales and Current Album Sales chart.
In addition to those figures, the record topped Billboard’s Hard Music and Rock Album charts. 10,000 Volts was released Feb. 23 through MNRK Heavy and has already outsold Frehley’s then most recent album, 2018’s Spaceman since its release, too.
Three singles have spawned from 10,000 Volts to date, the most recent being ‘Cherry Medicine.‘ Its debut was preceded by those of ‘Walkin’ On The Moon‘ and the album’s title track.
