March 18 — The Dead Daisies has a lot going on this year.

The band announced Monday, it is working on its next album with producer Marti Frederiksen. According to information provided in a news release announcing the information about the record, the as yet untitled album is expected for release later this year, with a precise release date under consideration.

Rejoining the band for the new album is drummer Tommy Clufetos (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, L.A. Rats). Clufetos first worked with The Dead Daisies in 2015 as the band’s touring drummer before replacing Deen Castronovo in 2021 following the release of the band’s album, Holy Ground. Castronovo was forced to step back from his duties at the time due to back problems.

Clufetos would go on to fill in until 2022 before temporarily being replaced by Brian Tichy who himself was a former member of the band.

In other news, The Dead Daisies has announced a month-long tour in support of its forthcoming album. The tour is scheduled to kick off June 8 in New York, NY and to run through Jun 22 in Roseville, CA. It includes scheduled stops in cities, such as Columbus, OH; Nashville, TN and Los Angeles, CA.
