May 7 — Slash’s forthcoming “S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Tour” now has 28 dates.
More than a month after initially announcing the tour’s planned launch, the famed guitarist announced Tuesday, he has expanded the tour, from 27 to 28 dates, with the addition of one additional date, July 16 in Salt Lake City, UT. The tour is in support of his new blues covers collection, Orgy of the Damned, which is scheduled for release May 17 through Gibson Records.
Orgy of the Damned has produced two singles so far: That of Howlin’ Wolf’s ‘Killing Floor’ and of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Oh Well.’ The former features a guest appearance by AC/DC front man Brian Johnson while the latter features a guest appearance by country music star Chris Stapleton.
