Slash Announces Three-Night Run On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

May 15 — Slash will be on late night TV next week.

The famed guitarist announced Wednesday, he is scheduled to perform Monday-Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! He is scheduled to perform on the late night ABC show Monday-Wednesday, May 20-22. The three-night stint is part of Slash’s push to promote his brand-new blues covers compilation, Orgy of the Damned.

Orgy of the Damned is streaming through Spotify and in celebration of its release Friday, Slash released a third single from the set, a cover of ‘Papa Was A Rolling Stone.’ Originally recorded by Motown act Undisputed Truth in 1972, it has gone on to be covered by a multitude of other famed acts, such as Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and George Michael. Prior to its debut, the collection also produced the singles, ‘Killing Floor’ and ‘Oh Well.’ The former (a cover of the song made famous by Howlin’ Wolf) features a guest appearance by AC/DC front man Brian Johnson while the latter (A cover of a song made famous by Fleetwood Mac) features a guest appearance by country music star Chris Stapleton.

In other news, Slash is scheduled to launch a tour in support of Orgy of the Damned July 5 in Bonner, MO. The tour is scheduled to run through Aug. 17 in Grand Prairie, TX and includes stops in cities, such as Cary, NC; Denver, CO and Lincoln, CA. The tour’s schedule is noted below:
