July 17 — Finger Eleven fans got some good news about the band this week.
The band announced Wednesday through a news release, it is set to release a new album next year through its new label home, Better Noise Music. The album, whose title, release date and other information is under consideration, will be the band’s eighth, following the release of its greatest hits collection last year through Concord Music. That record included what was at the time, the band’s first new music in more than nearly a decade in the form of the single, ‘Together Right.‘
The band’s most recent album of new material was actually released in 2015 in the form of Five Crooked Lines.
Dan Waite, Better Noise Music CEO said in a prepared statement, he was pleased to have Finger Eleven as part of the label’s artist roster.
“As experiences go, signing Finger Eleven backstage on a Latvian NATO base after they just played to a squadron of Canadian military is one that’ll I’ll never forget, said Waite. “It is also an appropriate analogy, as at Better Noise Music we will combine forces to bring their music to the world through our global staff and offices, from Australia to Toronto. We’ll be working them hard at radio and streaming and using our skills in artist development to expand their already large audience.”
Steve Kline, Better Noise Music President/COO, shared Waite’s thoughts on the new signing in his own comments.
“We are incredibly psyched to have F11 join the Better Noise family,” said Kline.
He added, he feels the tour that the band launched Wednesday alongside Creed will help to get the word out about the band, its new album and more.
“The music from their new album is next level and we can’t wait to start the rollout around this massive tour,” Kline said. “The initial response from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
The schedule for the tour in question is noted below. Tickets are available here.
