P!nk Summer Carnival 2024 Wraps the Summer Concert Season at Hersheypark Stadium on October 1st – Review and Photos by Sharon Sipple

The October 1st P!nk concert at Hersheypark Stadium was the final show of the summer concert season and was a night of powerhouse performances and emotional moments, making it one of the standout concerts of the year. With The Script and Sheryl Crow opening, the crowd was already buzzing by the time P!nk took the stage.

The Script delivered a set full of energy, with their infectious hits like “Breakeven” and “Hall of Fame” getting the audience singing along. They brought a perfect blend of pop-rock that set the stage for what was to come.

Then Sheryl Crow took things to a new level, blending her timeless hits like “If It Makes You Happy” and “All I Wanna Do” with a warmth and authenticity that only comes from decades of experience. She captivated the crowd, proving why she remains one of the most respected voices in music today.

When P!nk finally hit the stage, it was electric. She opened with a high-flying aerial performance that’s become her signature, effortlessly blending stunning acrobatics with her powerful vocals. Hits like “Raise Your Glass,” “F**kin Perfect,” and “What About Us” had the crowd on their feet from the start, but the night was filled with more than just high-energy moments.

A special highlight came when P!nk’s daughter, Willow Sage Hart, joined her on stage. Willow’s performance was met with cheers. Part way through, Willow made a mistake and began laughing and then just couldn’t stop. It was the sweetest thing ever, and then her Mom came over to hug her, while also laughing. P!nk has always been known for her raw emotion and realness, and seeing her share the spotlight with her daughter felt deeply personal. Another standout was when the Bill Jolly Choir joined P!nk on stage for a beautiful rendition of “I Am Here”. P!nk also paid tribute to the late Kris Kristofferson with a heartfelt rendition of “Me and Bobby McGee”.

She wrapped with “So What”, flying all over the stadium, landing on pillars out in the crowd and performing non-stop aerial stunts.

The entire night was a beautiful blend of spectacle and soul. P!nk’s vocals were flawless, her energy boundless, and the connections she made with the audience unforgettable. Whether you came for the acrobatics, the empowering lyrics, or simply to witness a musical icon in her prime, the concert at Hersheypark Stadium delivered on all fronts. I have seen many concerts in my life, and this is absolutely one of the best! Watching and listening to P!nk, it was evident that she absolutely LOVES being on that stage. It rained the entire show, but it didn’t dampen her joy. She even told the audience how she loved to perform in the rain. I watched her throughout the show hug her dancers and musicians, members of the choir, etc. If you ever get the chance to see P!nk live….go. If you were not a fan prior to going, I promise you will be one after.
