Jan 31 — Independent hard rock act Everlit has a new record deal, single, and video.
The band announced Friday through a news release, it has signed a new deal with independent record label, Chirp Entertainment. In celebration of the announcement, the band also unveiled its new single, ‘Game Over‘ and the song’s companion video Friday. The song features a guest appearance by JT Tollas of Famous Last Words.
The musical arrangement featured in the new single exhibits a sound and style that fans of the nu-metal sound of the late 90s and early 2000s will find familiar. A close listen reveals hints of Deftones influence as well as from others of that ilk.
According to a statement from the band, the song’s lyrical statement “dives into the power dynamics and ego games we all face, but ultimately it’s about letting go.”
The song’s video features the band performing its new single on a specially-designed sound stage with lights illuminating separately each member of the band as the song plays over the visualization.
