Drowning Pool premiered its first new music of 2025 this week.

The band unveiled the music in the form of its new single, ‘Madness.’ The single is everything that audiences have come to expect from the band throughout its work with front man Ryan McCombs. In other words, the trademark sound that the band has honed for decades is there while McCombs’ equally familiar gritty delivery style brings the SoiL influence into the song to make the whole fully engaging and entertaining.

The band addressed the song’s lyrical theme in a prepared statement.

“We are inspired by the multiple possibilities for millions of conflicting disputes across many schools of thought and ideals across this world,” the statement reads. “Embrace the chaos, as it pulls you deeper—where sanity slips and the madness begins!”

In other news, Drowning Pool recently wrapped up a European tour alongside Godsmack. With that tour wrapped up the band is already looking forward to a number of upcoming dates, including a pair of festival shows, one being the Inkcarceration Festival July 18 and the Alcatraz Festival Aug. 7-10 in Kortijk, Belgium.

Speaking of European performances, Drowning Pool is also schewduled to join Spineshank and (hed) p.e. for a UK/Ireland tour in November. The tour is scheduled to launch Nov. 6 in Manchester, UK and to run through Nov. 23 in Southampton, UK.
