Metallica has partnered with the American Red Cross to bolster blood donations.

The band and the nonprofit agency will hold blood drives at specific stops along the upcoming U.S. leg of its “M72 Tour.” The partnership was made possible through the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation. The foundation works to contribute to communities nationwide where the band stops on its tours.

According to information provided in a news release distributed Monday, many of the blood drives will take place inside the concert venues while the stage for the concerts is being built. Additionally, fans who donate blood at those stops will be eligible to receive a free T-shirt while supplies last.
