Grave Digger debuted a brand-new standalone single this week.
The band unveiled its new single, ‘Bark To Hell’ Friday. The single was recorded during the sessions for the band’s latest album, Bone Collector, which was released in January, according to a comment from front man Chris Boltendahl.
“Hey folks – we’re back! And we’ve brought you our brand-new single: ‘Bark to Hell’!,” said Boltendahl. “For us, this track is the final exclamation mark to close out our celebrated Bone Collector session with a bang. With ‘Bark to Hell,’ we’ve packed in everything that defines Grave Digger – raw energy, dark atmosphere, and no-compromise power.
Right from its outset, the song’s arrangement is a full-throttle power metal barrage. From the in-your-face instrumentation to Boltendahl’s gritty, driving vocals, the overall performance here is a completely engaging and entertaining presentation.
The song’s lyrical theme is explained in the news release announcing its premiere as being “a fiery descent into chaos crowned by the king of torment himself. Obey the call…or be dragged under.”
In other news, Grave Digger’s 45th Anniversary Tour, which launched early this year is well underway, with its next stop being July 5 in Szalki-sziget, Hungary. The tour’s current schedule is noted below. Tickets are available here.
