‘Asteroid City’ Soundtrack To Get Digital Release This Week

June 20 — The soundtrack to famed director Wes Anderson’s latest project, Asteroid City will be available this week through all digital outlets.

The soundtrack is planned for digital release Friday through ABKCO. In anticipation of the soundtrack’s release, one of the soundtrack’s songs — ‘Dear Alien (Who Art In Heaven)’ — has been released. The folksy, semi-bluegrass style song was performed by Jarvis Cocker.

The new single is one of two songs that Cocker performs for the soundtrack and even in person in the movie. The other song is ‘You Can’t Wake Up If You Don’t Fall Asleep.’ In total, the soundtrack boasts 16 songs.
