Queensryche Debuts Video For New Single, ‘Realms’; New Tour Planned

In Upcoming Tours
February 28, 2023

Feb. 28 — Queensryche debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band premiered the video for its new single, ‘Realms’ Tuesday. The song is featured in the band’s latest album, Digital Noise Alliance.

The video features the band performing its new single on a soundstage as videos play behind the band of fictional politicians and other related imagery meant to help illustrate the song’s lyrical message.

The message in question, is a political commentary, according to a statement from the band.

“This track surrounds the ongoing scandals of politicians and the non-transparent cover-ups trying to save their political careers,” the statement reads.

The musical arrangement featured in ‘Realms’ is classic Queensryche from beginning to end. From the vocal delivery of front man Todd LaTorre (who to this day still sounds so much like the band’s former front man Geoff Tate) to the rich, heavy sound of the bass and guitars together, to even the tightness of the snare. The production that went into the song is to thank for bringing out the best in that sound and stylistic approach.

In other news, Queensryche is scheduled to launch a new tour schedule to continue its support of Digital Noise Alliance. Marty Friedman and Trauma are scheduled to serve as support for the tour, which is scheduled to launch Friday in Orlando, FL and to run through April 16 in St. Petersburg, FL.

The tour also takes the band to cities, such as Kansas City, KS; Charlotte, NC and Portland, OR. The tour’s schedule is noted below.
