NewsFore Premieres New Single, ‘Wild Out,’ Companion Video

April 29 — Independent punk rock bad Fore premiered its latest single and video this week.

The band debuted the video for its new single, ‘Wild Out‘ Thursday, and the song’s official premiere followed Friday. The band premiered the simple, skate-themed video through online magazine, The Punk Site. The song is featured on the band’s forthcoming album, Skin. The record is scheduled for release June 23 through Listenable Insanity Records.

The musical arrangement featured in the band’s new single is a familiar style composition. Its skate punk sound and style is easily comparable to works from the likes of Pennywise, much like other existing works from Fore. No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the premiere of the new single and its video. Lyrics are not provided with the song’s video, either.

In listening to the lyrics, the theme comes across as centering on the all too familiar topic of perhaps dealing with negative situations and settings, and doing something about one’s situation because one does not feel like one fits into a given scenario. That is just this critic’s interpretation.

The video for the band’s new single features various skate-themed visuals, such as someone slamming a skateboard on concrete for some reason out of frustration, someone simply riding around on a skateboard and skating at a skate park.
