Aug. 4 — Less than a month after premiering its then latest single, ‘Beyond The Grave,‘ Exmortus has unveiled the fourth single from its forthcoming album, Necrophony.
The band debuted its new single, ‘Storm of Strings‘ and its companion video Friday. The video is a unique presentation featuring a continually cascading series of skeletons playing string instruments as the band’s new full-on instrumental track plays over the visualization. The song itself is, according to front man Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez, a cover of famed musician Yanni’s take of Antonio Vivaldi’s timeless classical composition, ‘The Four Seasons.’
“We’ve been meaning to cover this piece for a long time and now it feels right for Necrophony,” Gonzalez said. “Honoring two artists at once, we give you a heavy metal shred version of Yanni’s arrangement of Vivaldi’s Summer Concerto. Enjoy the groove, enjoy the passion!”
Along with its new cover and its third single, Necrophony has also produced two other singles, ‘Mind of Metal‘ and ‘Oathbreaker‘.
