The Cocktail Slippers Debuts Video For Its Latest Single, ‘Good Love’

Aug. 22 — The Cocktail Slippers debuted the video for its latest single this week.

The band unveiled the video for its new single, ‘Good Love‘ Monday. The video features the quintet, dressed somewhat like The Spice Girls, walking down a street, singing its new single as the song plays over the clearly tongue-in-cheek spoof of the noted pop stars and their look.

The band talked about the video’s treatment in a prepared statement:

“What do you get when you put 5 girls in a small van with no AC, drive from Oslo to Copenhagen for a gig and have 3 hours to kill before the show? GOOD LOVE,” the statement reads.

According to information provided about the premiere of the new video, the song’s lyrical theme presents a message about “love and empowerment. That delves into the story of a girl who seemingly had it all. Yet, despite all her possessions, she learns that what she truly really needs is something more profound- genuine and good love.”

The song’s musical arrangement is a catchy, poppy, up-beat composition whose vocal harmonies, guitar work and even rhythm section make for so much engagement and entertainment.

The Cocktail Slippers is in the midst of a tour in support of its latest album, Shout It Out Loud! The tour will bring the band to the U.S. this fall, starting Nov. 9 in New Haven, CT. The band’s North American run is scheduled to span through Nov. 18 in Manhattan, New York City before the band heads back to Europe for more live dates overseas.
