One Day Alive Debuts New Single, On Tour Now

Apr. 30 — Independent rock band One Day Alive recently unveiled its latest single.

The band premiered the new single, ‘Addicted Again,’ Apr. 25. The song’s musical arrangement makes it an instantly radio ready work whose guitars and vocals pair with its rhythm section to make it easily comparable to works from the likes of Nickelback, Saving Abel and others of that ilk. The comparison is especially understandable when it is noted that the band worked with Jason Null (who also worked with Saving Abel) on this single.

Lyrically, the song centers on the all too familiar topic of relationships, according to a prepared statement from the band.

“Like a blazing fire in the night, ‘Addicted Again’ ignites the soul with its solid rock essence, intertwining the raw energy of existence with the complexities of love’s grip,” the statement reads. “Crafted by the lyrical prowess of Jason Null and Scotty Austin, this single pulses with the heartbeat of everyday relationships, offering a poignant twist on the familiar. It’s not just a song; it’s a journey through the highs and lows of passion, a testament to the enduring power of music to mirror our deepest emotions. ‘Addicted Again’ stands as the vibrant second chapter of the hit saga by Saving Abel, ‘Addicted,’ a testament to their unwavering ability to capture the essence of human experience in every chord.”

In other news, One Day Alive is touring alongside Trapt, Adema, Tantric and Josey Scott on the “Parental Advisory Tour.” The tour is underway, having launched May 3 and is scheduled to run through June 1 in Danbury, WI.
