Smile Empty Soul Addresses Societal Concern In New Single, Video

June 7 — Rock band Smile Empty Soul unveiled its latest single and video this week.

The band premiered its new single, ‘Savior‘ and the song’s companion video Friday. The song is featured in the band’s forthcoming EP, Swan Song. The Ep is expected for release late this year through TLG|Zoid/Virgin Music Group. An exact release date is under consideration.

The song’s musical arrangement is an easily accessible composition for any active rock radio programmer’s playlist. It is a sort of Matchbox 20-type composition, only harder.

According to vocalist Sean Danielsen, the song’s lyrical theme addresses people’s actions toward others in the world today.

“I feel like people have grown cold to each other and selfishness has stepped up as the primary mentality,” Danielsen said of the song’s theme.

The video is a simple presentation. It features silhouettes of Danielsen, the band’s sole original member and what has to be believed to be touring drummer Ty Del Rose as they perform the single as the song plays over the visualization.
