July 9 — Skillet and Seether will share time on stage this fall on a co-headlining run across America.
The announcement was made Tuesday though a new release. The tour is scheduled to launch Sept. 17 in Asheville, NC and to run through Oct. 20 in Minneapolis, MN. Various ticket pre-sales open at 10 a.m. local time Wednesday while general ticket sales are scheduled to open at 10 a.m. local time Friday.
Tickets can be purchased through the official websites of Skillet and Seether.
The members of Seether said in a collective prepared statement, they are looking forward to the upcoming tour.
“We’re really stoked about the upcoming tour — we’ve put together a killer package!,” the statement reads. “It’s always nice to tour with bands that you’re a fan of and that bring it live. Co-headlining with Skillet is going to be a blast; we’ll have to bring our A Game. It should be a great show.”
The members of Skillet shared that enthusiasm in their own collective prepared statement.
“We’re glad to be back on the road with our friends in Seether again,” the statement reads. “We’ve talked about going out together for a while, but after we played a show together this summer that drew big numbers, we knew it was time.”
