Sept. 25 — MVD Entertainment Group will take audiences back to the 80s next month through a new documentary.
More specifically, the company will take audiences back to 1982 in its new documentary, 1982: Greatest Geek Year Ever. The documentary is scheduled for release Oct. 22 separately on Blu-ray and DVD.
The doc focuses on the movies that made 1982 such a key year. Those films include the likes of E.T.: The Extraterrestrial, Blade Runner, John Carpenter’s The Thing, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Poltergeist, Creepshow, Night Shift, The Dark Crystal, 48 Hours, Tron, The Road Warrior and so many others. Viewers gets behind-the-scenes interviews with celebrities, such as Ron Howard, William Shatner, Bruce Campbell, and film critic Leonard Maltin as they talk about the movies that made 1982 so great.
