Oct. 18 — It’s not even Halloween but that isn’t stopping some artists from getting a jump on the Christmas season.
Soren Hansen, co-founder of the platinum-selling alt-pop outfit New Politics, has released a new song to get people into the holiday mood in the form of ‘Christmas Time.’ Hansen debuted the new single Thursday.
The song’s musical arrangement is an interesting presentation, what with its pop sensibilities. The only real Christmas connection in regard to the arrangement is the occasional inclusion of sleigh bells to help set the mood.
Hansen said of the song’s creation, “Releasing this song, created with my close friends from New Politics, fills me with holiday spirit. I can’t wait for you all to experience it and feel the joy too!”
‘Christmas Time’ is a standalone single from Hansen. He recently released his debut solo record to the masses. It can be streamed here.
