Dec. 6 — Music legend Stevie Wonder’s compilation album The Definitive Collection has been re-issued on a new vinyl pressing.
Having recently been certified 4X Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the collection was re-issued on a new 2LP vinyl collection Friday by Universal Music (UMe). The 21-song collection features a number of Wonder’s biggest hits, including: ‘Superstition,’ ‘You Are The Sunshine of My Life,’ and ‘Higher Ground.’
As an added positive for audiences, the new re-issue includes braille embossing for Wonder’s blind audiences. Additionally, it features rare photos from Motown Records’ archives, a new essay by Scott Regan, a Detroit DJ who would go on to become a staff writer and producer for Motown Records who penned liner notes for Stevie Wonder’s first Greatest Hits record in 1968.
