Grave Digger gave audiences a special treat this week with the premiere of a new single.
The band debuted its previously unreleased single, ‘Hellfire Crusade‘ Friday. The press release annoucing the single’s premiere did not specify whether the song was recorded during the sessions for the band’s latest album, Bone Collector, which was released in January through Rock of angels Records/Reigning Phoenix Music.
The musical arrangement featured in the new single is everything that audiences have come to expect from the band. That comparison of works from the likes of Motorhead is there as are comparisons to works from plenty of the band’s contemporaries.
The news release announcing the single’s premiere did not note the song’s lyrical theme. Though the single’s artwork hints that like much of the band’s work, it focuses on some military conflict. That is just this critic’s interpretation.
In other news, Grave Digger is preparing to perform at a series of festivals in support of Bone Collector. The band’s upcoming tour schedule is noted below:
