Vermilion Whiskey Debuts ‘The Get Down’ Official Video

July 21 — More than two months after Vermilion Whiskey debuted its single, ‘The Get Down,’ the southern sludge metal band has premiered the song’s official video.

The band debuted the song’s simple, straight forward video Friday through online outlet, Decibel Magazine. The video is simple in that for the most part, the expertly edited and shot presentation features the band performing its new single in an unidentified club in southern Louisiana. At points, the video shows the band enjoying a crawfish boil, a Louisiana staple, which as its name indicates, involves cooking crawfish and vegetables. Crawfish, for those who might not know, are essentially small lobsters.

Vermilion Whiskey debuted its latest single and the song’s lyric video in early May. The song is the fourth single from the band’s latest album, Crimson & Stone. The album also produced the singles, ‘Atrophy,’  ‘Confidence‘ and lead single, ‘Good Lovin’.’

Crimson & Stone is Vermilion Whiskey’s third full-length studio offering. The band released its debut album, 10 South in September 2013. The band’s sophomore effort, Spirit of Tradition, followed less than four years later in February 2017.
