Aug. 11 — Firewind is giving audiences another preview of its forthcoming live recording, Still Raging this weekend.

The band premiered the live clip of its performance of its song, ‘Mercenary Man‘ Friday. The clip is the third so far from the recording, which is scheduled for release Sept. 1 through AFM Records. The band unveiled its clip of its performance of the Flashdance theme song, ‘Maniac‘ late last month. The band premiered the recording’s first live clip, that of ‘Orbital Sunrise,’ in early July.

Guitarist Gus G. talked about the song and performance during a recent interview.

“’Mercenary Man’ was the lead single off our 2008 album The Premonition and it’s just one of those songs of ours that became a fan favorite through the years,” he said. “While we’re currently hard at work on some new music, we hope this commemorative Live release will keep you good company, till our new Metal anthems arrive.”

In other news, Firewind is in the midst of a European tour in support of its new live recording. The tour opened July 29 in the Czech Republic and its most recent stop was Aug. 4 at the annual Helmfest in Buddenstedt, Germany.
