Aug. 4 — Independent post-hardcore band Traindodge is set to release its eight album next month.
The Alley Parade is scheduled for release Sept. 22 through Spartan Records. In anticipation of the album’s release, the band released the record’s lead single, ‘The New Low‘ Thursday. The harmonies in the instrumentation and the half sung-half screamed vocals from front man Jason Smith make the song’s musical arrangement a surprisingly infectious work that is sure to keep listeners engaged and entertained throughout the song’s nearly five-minute run time.
Smith talked about the song’s lyrical theme in a prepared statement:
“‘The New Low’. It’s about seeing what you want to see in someone regardless of where it might lead you. Sometimes you find that you hold vastly different definitions of the same words you’re using with someone. Then gradually you realize you’ve been having conversations of pure insanity with them the entire time.”
