July 26 — Another Beastie Boys album has been re-issued.
The group’s breakout 1994 album Ill Communication was re-issued Friday on a special 3-LP vinyl and cassette collection through Capitol Musi Group. The re-issue is in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the album’s release.
The trio’s fourth album, it includes hits, such as ‘Sabotage,’ ‘Sure Shot,’ and ‘Root Down.’ The new re-issue’s third disc is a bonus collection featuring a dozen tracks. Those tracks include and are not limited to live music, remixes, and b-sides.

Ill Communication is just the latest of the Beastie Boys’ albums to get the re-issue treatment. Capitol Music Group re-issued the group’s 1998 album, Hello Nasty last year. It marked the second time since the album’ initial release that it had been re-issued. It was first re-issued in 2009 in a deluxe package.
