Oct. 25 — Indie rock outfit Don’t Believe in Ghosts premiered its latest single, ‘Brooklyn, Baby‘ Thursday.
The poppy new single follows the premiere earlier this year of another single from the group, ‘Drowning.‘ The new single is a catchy, infectious composition that will appeal easily to fans of acts, such as Fitz and the Tantrums, The Killers, and Modest Mouse.
No information was provided in the news release announcing the debut of the new single. Lyrics were also not provided. From what can be inferred from the song without that content is that the song is a tribute to Brooklyn.
In other news, Don’t Believe in Ghosts is scheduled to perform live Nov. 9 at the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation at 18 Label Studios in Montclair, NJ. The fundraiser event will be hosted by Melyssa Murray, founder of No. 95 Candles and by Murr, from the hit TV show, Impractical Jokers. Tickets are available here.
Another performance, scheduled for Nov. 30, is set to take place at the Mercury Lounge in New York City. Tickets are available here.
