Jan. 28 — A classic Wings album will see the light of day once again this spring.
Venus and Mars is scheduled for re-issue March 21 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its release. Pre-orders are open. The band’s fourth album, it was originally released May 27, 1975 and would go on to sell more than 4 million copies worldwide, leading it to reach the top of the albums chart in its initial release. It spawned the hit singles, ‘Letting Go’ and the #1 U.S. hit, ‘Listen To What The Man Said.’
The forthcoming vinyl re-issue was cut at half-speed, using a high resolution transfer of the album’s original master tapes. The album’s track listing is noted below:
