Steve Hackett Premieres ‘A Tower Struck Down’ Live Clip

Aug. 17 — Steve Hackett is giving audiences another preview of his forthcoming live recording this week.

The preview came Thursday in the form of a live clip of ‘A Tower Struck Down.’ The song and its video are the second from Hackett’s forthcoming live recording, Foxtrot at Fifty + Hackett HighlightsLive in Brighton. Hackett debuted the recording’s lead live clip — that of ‘Watcher of the Skies‘ — in July.

Foxtrot at Fifty + Hackett HighlightsLive in Brighton is scheduled for release Sept. 15. The 16 total songs featured in the recording were captured last year during a concert that he held in Brighton, UK. The performance was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Genesis album, Foxtrot, as Hackett is himself a former member of Genesis.

Foxtrot at Fifty + Hackett HighlightsLive in Brighton will release on limited edition 2CD/Blu-ray combo pack and limited edition 2CD/2DVD combo pack. Each presentation will feature a handful of bonus behind the scenes interviews with Hackett and others. In addition to the combo pack platforms, the recording will also release on a limited edition deluxe 4LP edition.
